The traditional bars are cosy and comfortable, ideal for drinking, dining and relaxing. With real fires for the winter months and access to a beer garden for the summer months, that also has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

The pub is full of nostalgia. It has exposed brick walls and is traditionally decorated. The pub's history and age are lovingly looked after.

The pub is famously known for it's historic 'Hole
in the Wall
' dating right back to the 1950's, where

the challenge still stands to wriggle your body through a small hole in the wall. The successful

candidate receives a certificate of congratulations. However, we find it advisable to attempt this

before sampling the extensive real ale collection!
